We had our first assembly of the school year on Wednesday.
Ms. Keane presented the Principal's Prizes. Two children are chosen from each class each month, they are chosen for working really hard, being kind, and being good friends with others.
This was the first time we had sisters both chosen during the same month. Well done Wiktoria and Oliwia!!!
At Assembly, Ms. Keane spoke about healthy eating and about playing together safely at break and lunch times.
Ms. Ryan spoke about the new Student Council and how the elections will take place in the next fortnight.
The outgoing committee spoke about how great it was being on the council and all the fun things they planned and did. Everyone thanked the student council for their hard work in our school.
Ms. Keane thanked Ms. Ryan and Ms. Murphy for guiding and supporting the council members.
We look forward to seeing who will be elected for our new Scoil Íde student council 2023/2024.
Ms. Murphy's class treated the whole school to a fantastic performance of the song 'When I Grow Up'. We look forward to more singing and dancing performances from them throughout the year. Well done room 14!
