To celebrate Biodiversity Week this year, the students from 3rd and 4th class made presentations to every class about what biodiversity is and how we can protect it. They were excellent ambassadors for biodiversity and had great fun helping the junior classes to play bug, flower and bird bingo. Well done girls! We also held a competition asking pupils to find a plant, animal or insect, draw or take a photo of it, identify what it is and where they found it. A big congratulations to our entrants and winners Liam and Emily from Senior Infants, Lily from 1st class, Erica from 2nd, and Emilija and Hailey from 4th class. They created wonderful pictures and photos of what they identified. 🐛🐞🌳Well done!👏
