We recently attended a workshop called 'Plastic Problems' as part of STEM education (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths,) which made us think about the impact people and the choices they make have on our Planet. We learned about the different types of Plastic and how long each type of plastic takes to completely decompose. Did you know it takes a plastic shopping bag approximately one thousand years to fully break down? We were shocked to hear this! We worked on posters together in groups to raise awareness in our school of the damage plastic can do to the Earth and it's oceans.
