Before Christmas we were very lucky to have Ms. Wright visit our room to tell the children all about Christmas in Australia. The children were surprised to hear that some families have a barbecue on the beach on Christmas day and that Santa arrives on a firetruck to visit the children. Ms. Wright who is from Melbourne was teaching in our school from September to December. She has now moved on to continue her travels in Ireland but we are very thankful for the time we had with her.
