The children had a great first full week of school and are settling in so quickly to school life. This week we celebrated our classroom Teddy's birthday. Ted the teddy turned 5 on Thursday and the children all made him a lovely card. We also talked about how we celebrate our own birthdays and made birthday cakes with the correct number of candles for our age. There wasn't enough room on Ms Crabbe's cake for all her candles though. We also went for a walk to the school garden and found the orchard with apples on the trees. We practiced some handwriting on apples when we came back to class. We cannot wait to learn more next week.
