May and June have been busy months in room 5. We welcomed our Grandparents in for Grandparent's Day in early May. It was amazing to have our Grandparents in our classroom. The children enjoyed playing card games and even learned some tricks.
Later in the month, we went to Round Towers GAA pitch to support our amazing senior infants in their blitz. There were excellent skills and determination displayed on the day. Friendship Week took place at the end of the month. The children enjoyed playing on the bouncy castles, making friendship cards and a workshop with Konor Halpin who taught the children how to make balloon dogs, swords and hats.
On the 13th of June, we visited Causey Farm for our school tour. The children had a wonderful day despite the heavy rain! We held our very own talent show on Friday the 14th of June. The children sang and danced their hearts out!
