Rook 8 had a very busy Science Week looking at Outer Space. We learned about the planets in our solar system, did an experiment to see how asteroids made craters on the moon, learned from scientist Jackson about why there is only life on Earth, and made paper plate sun dials to see how we measure time based on Earth's daily rotations as we revolve around the sun. We also learned about how our seasons are made by the Earth tilting as it orbits and history of the great Space Race!👩🚀🚀🌍🪐
