To celebrate St. Brigid's Day, Third Class visited St. Brigid's Well in Clondalkin. We had learned about the story of St. Brigid's Cloak in class and researched some interesting facts about her online this week. We had a few volunteers to dip the rag cloth into the water of the well and we hung it on a tree. St. Brigid's well in Clondalkin is believed to have a cure for eye ailments. We said a prayer to remember St. Brigid too. We love to explore our local area!
