Winter Landscape Paintings and Landscape Sketching in Room 13
We have had some fantastic art lessons in the last few weeks and have produced pieces that we are very proud of!
Our first paintings took 2 to 3 days to complete and involved lots of blending and colour mixing. We developed our awareness of scale and various techniques required using brushes of various sizes and splatter techniques to produce our snow effect. We were a bit nervous to start with but thanks to lots of praise and encouragement we all stayed calm and amazed ourselves. Everyone in school has been admiring our paintings.
Our second piece was a sketching piece again using fine-line sketching, blending, and shading to create a stunning landscape with a stunning, shimmery moon.
Stay tuned as we continue our artistic journey!
